The Axis Slim worked perfect for my G43 but when I used the same style for the larger frames, it just made the holster too unwieldy and uncomfortable for my frame (5'6", 130lbs). I don't carry the G43 anymore, either the G48, G19, or G17 and they're all in LAS Concealment Saya 2.0s. If I went back to the G43, I would pick the Axis Slim though. 2.
Simple answer after using all models/versions of both companies. TREX has better customer service and ship times, but Tier 1 makes a better quality form fitting holster. TREX isn’t bad by any means, but I could always tell I was carrying.
Between the Tier1 Elite and non-Elite Axis, I'd go with the non-Elite Axis. For my body type, the Elite actually printed more and was more bulky looking (from just a clothes point of view). I’m debating between 2 holsters. There’s an $80 difference between them, both are flexible sidecar designs.
Tenicor Velo4 appendix holsters are my goto and if I want a sidecar style I use the LLOD Associate! Fusion Holsters with the UltiClip are the most comfortable. Lots of T1 but lately a JMCK. Sorry man but Tenicor is the best. I like my tenicor slightly more than my tier 1 but they are both very good.
The Tier 1 is a solid notch above the Tenicor holster. Basically everything about it is a step above... The concealment, draw, and even the reholster is just smoother/better on the Tier 1. Not that the Tenicor is bad, it's probably better than 90% of the other holsters out there. 1.
And the overall profile of tier 1 holsters is just a little slimmer. Not as much bulk on them. The type of stackable claw they use is more comfy and works just a little more efficiently, along with the “concealment ridge” on top of where the spare mag goes, if you choose sidecar option, definitely helps conceal the overall profile of the ...

Xiphos is a bit smaller of a footprint and has 2 options for mounting the second belt clip closer to the firearm if you wanted to remove the flexible part.
Having tested holsters from a couple dozen different makers at this point, I think Tier 1 makes a nice product, but I can see where you're coming from too. The fit and finish on my T1C rigs have been good, but with their sidecar options starting at $130, you're paying for every bit of that "refinement" in the finished product. Anything less ...
itsmekevin (5.0) 1 reviews. $90 USD. Princeton, Texas. Mar 6, 2024. Hello All, Listing my like-new Tier 1 Axis Elite that I received last week. It's for a Glock 19 Gen 5, right handed shooter. Color is OD with an OD bungee cord. I tried it on, but prefer to carry a standalone holster without a spare mag.
Fast forward a yearish and I'm watching video's on Youtube. A video comes up from a channel I hadn't heard or seen before on the Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite holster. I figured I'd give the video a watch and I did. Well I really liked the holster, and I still wanted to get appendix carry to work.
