Bacoor (IPA: [bakoʔˈoɾ]), officially the City of Bacoor (Filipino: Lungsod ng Bacoor), is a component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines.According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 664,625 people, making it the 15th most populous city in the Philippines [3] and the second largest city in the province of Cavite after Dasmariñas.
It served as the residence of Juan and Candida Cuenca. On July 15, 1898, the house became as the headquarters of the Katipunan-led revolutionary government of Emilio Aguinaldo during the Philippine Revolution shortly after the proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12 of the same year.
Bacoor Bay lies along the shoreline of the southeastern Cavite Peninsula. Cavite City and Bacoor are located along its shore. [1] The Governor Samonte Park View Promenade is a park along its northern shore in Cavite City. The bay serves as the inner anchorage of Cavite Naval Base.
The city hall building, housed within the Bacoor Government Center complex, was inaugurated on September 29, 2015, in line with the city's 344th founding anniversary celebration led by then Mayor Strike B. Revilla (who also became representative of Cavite's 2nd congressional district and retook his old post in 2022).

Lani Mercado-Revilla (Tagalog pronunciation: [ˈlɐnɪ mɛɾˈkadɔ rɛˈbiljɐ]; born Jesusa Victoria Garcia Hernandez-Bautista; April 13, 1968) is a Filipino actress and politician serving as representative of Cavite's 2nd district, which comprises only the city of Bacoor, from 2010 to 2016.
