House, also known as House, M.D., is an American medical drama series which premiered on Fox on November 16, 2004. House was created by David Shore. The show follows Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), an irascible, maverick medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey.
The show was renewed for a 15-episode 16th season on June 1, 2022 and started production on the same day. It premiered in the fall in Canada and will premiere on June 1, 2023 on Up Faith and Family and in the summer on the main Up TV channel in the US. Up Faith and Family season 16, episode 10 was a 'mid-season finale'.
Thirteen returns in the show's 150th episode, "The Dig", [7] where House meets her upon release from a prison where she has been incarcerated for the last six months for over-prescribing drugs. She has House drive her to a seemingly random house where she rings the bell, then assaults the man who answers the door.

It is the 22nd episode of the eighth season and the 177th overall episode of the series. [1] In the episode, House is forced to examine his life and future while treating a drug-addicted patient. The title references the series' first episode, " Everybody Lies ", a phrase that also serves as House's mantra.
During the last day of the hearing, Dr. Colfield calls House brilliant but a fiasco; however, the patient's wife speaks up on House's behalf, saying House "saved my husband's life". At this point Colfield decides that House is an important part of the hospital and he would damage the hospital by sending him back to prison.
Meanwhile, House trades barbs with an abrasive clinic patient, only to realize to his horror that she is Cuddy's mother Arlene (guest star Candice Bergen), come to check out her daughter's boyfriend. He lies in a futile attempt to avoid a dinner with Cuddy, Arlene, and Wilson, even though it is Cuddy's birthday.
However at the end of the episode, House and Thirteen watch on as the real Jennifer arrives at the hospital, perhaps being Cyrus' real chance at happiness. Meanwhile, Cuddy's mother Arlene threatens to sue the hospital over the slow recovery from her hip-replacement surgery ("Family Practice"), which causes tension between herself, House, and ...
