So these tires are rated for 2830 @ 80 PSI. So the RV is rated for 8,500 pounds GVWR. (8500 / 4) = 2125 / 2830 = 0.75 x 80 = 60.07 PSI required for GVWR. Being a RV weight can vary rapidly with water, cargo, food, etc. I just inflated to calculated max pressure and go with it. Not inflating to the max on the sidewall.

The "T" indicates a speed rating of 118 MPH. That's a nonexistent ST tire speed. The closest ST205/75R15 would be a LRC with a load index of 101L/101M, 75 MPH/81 MPH. Actually the tires are an ST205/75R15 that are on my trailer. There was not a 100T attached to it.

    3. My question is about my travel trailer tires blowing out. I have a 2019 Mesa Ridge travel trailer. I have had numerous tire failures. I check the tire pressure, putting the pressure at 65psi for max weight capacity. I’ve tried 58-60psi during the summer to compensate for the heat build up. When I first had the TT the tires were nitrogen ...

Posts. 2,487. Location. Sumner, TX. There isn't a ton of difference in size between the 205's and the 215's. The 215's would be about 1/2" taller and a 1/2" wider than your 205's. The bigger factor would be the load rating. Increasing the load range would allow you to run at a little less air pressure, and would give you a larger comfort zone ...
