Agahu is the name of a dance as well as one of the many secular music associations (clubs) of the Ewe people of Togo, Dahomey, and in the south-eastern part of the Volta Region. Each club (Gadzok, Takada, and Atsiagbeko are other such clubs) has its own distinctive drumming and dancing, as well as its own repertoire of songs.

In East Africa, all population groups examined had elements of Nilotic , Cushitic and Bantu ancestry, amongst others, to varying degrees.
