Opal reveals that the tournament is a cake decorating contest. Ash wins the contest and is challenged to an exhibition match against Opal. Opal sends out her Gigantamaxed Alcremie and uses G-Max Finale on Ash's Pikachu, causing Pikachu to grow fat into "Feaxtemaxed" from the cream. As a result, Opal calls off the battle.
After Gary saves the day against Team Rocket, Ash decides to challenge him where Pikachu is against Eevee. However, Gary wins the battle.
