Maymont’s original 100 acres are intact and retain the architectural and landscape features in place at the time of Mrs. Dooley’s death. More than 25 original buildings and garden structures are preserved.
Maymont has three entrances to choose from: The Robins Nature Center Entrance. 2201 Shields Lake Drive, Richmond, VA, 23220. This entrance is the best place for new visitors to begin. 78 to Meadow + Nevada, then walk about 0.4 mi, entering via the 1700 Hampton Street gates and through the park.
