    Lo and behold, I did indeed. So, I don't know why the Chinese characters occurred in the two issues detailed in this thread and the problem no longer persists to figure it out. I didn't notice that I didn't specify Chrome in the thread's text as I had just assumed it would be apparent from the screenshot.
