Druid Hill Park is a 745-acre (3.01 km 2) urban park in northwest Baltimore, Maryland. Its boundaries are marked by Druid Park Drive (north), Swann Drive and Reisterstown Road (west and south), and the Jones Falls Expressway / Interstate 83 (east).
Its name was shortened to the Charm City Bluegrass Festival in 2017. The inaugural festival was a sold-out event held on the grounds of the Union Craft Brewery and featured a line-up headlined by Tony Trischka and Tim O'Brien (musician). Created by famed sculptor Edward Sheffield Bartholomew [2] in 1858, [1] the George Washington statue was relocated to Druid Hill Park in 1885. [3] It was moved from old Carroll Hall building at the southwest corner of Calvert and Baltimore Streets.
