Make your pfp the target size for discord pfp. Making it too large (i.e. 1000x1000) will look bad when it gets compressed and shrunk to 128x128 or 256x256. Similarly making it too small makes it look bad too.
I tried to make a new discord for my friends to join in, and the system kept saying x file, i redownloaded and everything and there seems to be no genuine fix, i have searched tiktok for answers and came across a video from about a year ago with the same issue, so it seems like its common and they just butchered this last update🤷♂️

My pfp was gone and my user name was changed. The hijackers were selling account info, cc info, login info to linked accounts (ie. Spotify, YouTube, etc.) as well as older Discord accounts with rare 'flair' such as longtime server boosters. I reported those servers along with screen shots to Discord and promptly left those servers.

discord pfp reverting back and forth. Support i just tried to change my pfp, and it keeps reverting to my old pfp. and now everytime i change it it changes back. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and reloading the app several times.
