Ernest J. Humphrey was born in 1868 in Big Rapids, Michigan. In 1886 he moved to Ontonagon County to work in the lumber industry. He eventually settled in Ewen, and in 1900 married Edna Butts. The couple purchased 160 acres at this location in 1906. At first, they rented a nearby house as the farm was started.

Swampscott Fish House is a historic fishing supply storage house off Humphrey Street on Fisherman's Beach in Swampscott, Massachusetts. It is the oldest active fish house in the country. The shingle-style house was built in 1896 on land taken by eminent domain.

Park Township is a civil township of St. Joseph County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,397 at the 2020 census. [3] The township was originally part of Flowerfield Township and was set off as a separate township in 1838. [4]
