Vilnius Jesuit High School (Lithuanian: Vilniaus jėzuitų gimnazija) is a private Catholic gymnasium, located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Founded in 1570 by members of the Jesuit order, the school provides an education from grades 1 through to grade 12. They also have preschool classes.
Kaunas Jesuit High School is a private Catholic primary and secondary high school, located in Kaunas, Lithuania. Established in 1649, the school is operated by the Society of Jesus and offers an education from primary to the International Baccalaureate .
In 1939–44, elementary school operated in Ignalina. In 1944, it became a progymnasium. 1 September 1946, a Lithuanian-language high school was opened. In 1993, the school was named after Česlovas Kudaba. On 15 July 2002, after the establishment of the Ignalina district gymnasium, the school was reorganized into a primary school.
Its operations are authorized by the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, decrees issued by the President and Prime Minister, and laws passed by the Seimas (Parliament). Its mission is to prosecute state administration functions and realize state policy in education, science, studies branches. [4]
