Northpoint Christian School (NCS) is a private Christian school located in Southaven, Mississippi, that has been described as a white flight school.The school was founded in 1973 by a group of ten White Southern Baptist churches in the Whitehaven section of Memphis, Tennessee, at a time when public schools were integrating Black and White students.
In 2011, NorthPointe Christian Schools opened their Spanish Immersion program and moved their 6th grade students from the Preschool and Elementary campus to the Middle and High School campus. During the following years, childcare programs opened, a new technology initiative was announced, and Joel Westa was hired as Superintendent in 2013. [ 22 ]
In 2013, the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education approved the addition of Master's Degrees and Associate of Arts Degrees. [2] In 2017, the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement approved Northpoint to offer postsecondary distance education courses and programs online.
North Pointe's emphasis on community service was exemplified by its Prep Cares program. In the fall, the school collaborated with US Vets [ 4 ] to create a float for the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade, in addition to running several other events honoring members of the armed forces. [ 5 ]

Founded by the Green Street Baptist Church, High Point Christian Academy opened in August 1996 with 96 students in kindergarten through third grade. One grade was added per year which made the first graduating class the class of 2006. [3] The school had added its high school program with the 2002–2003 school year. [4]
