George Drum (the first) was a founding member of the church, invested in its construction, and helped build it. George Drum and Anna Margaret gave birth to a son, Isaac, on Oct. 18, 1799 who died as a child in 1804 and was the first Drum's family members buried at St. John's Cemetery on May 8, 1804.
