Sacred Heart Parish (Polish: Parafia Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa w New Britain) is a Catholic parish designated for Polish immigrants in New Britain, Connecticut. Founded on August 10, 1894. It is one of the oldest Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Archdiocese of Hartford.
By the 2010s there were fewer clergy teachers, and lay teachers were more expensive; in addition fewer parishioners gave money to the church. By 2016 the school's budget was $111,709 in deficit. In 2008-2009 it had a peak enrollment of 219.

In 1970 the orphanage was converted to a day-care center. [2] The sisters began teaching in the parish and elsewhere, such as Our Lady of Czestochowa School in Harrison, New Jersey. In the year 1928, a new Polish parish was established on Farmington Avenue in the City of New Britain, Connecticut under the leadership of Rev. Stefan Bartkowski. The Most Rev. Maurice F. McAuliffe, Bishop of Hartford, dedicated Holy Cross Church on July 1, 1928.
Sacred Heart was established in 1922 as an all-girls school. The school became coeducational in 1938. Since 1975, the school was located in the old Waterbury Catholic High School building in downtown Waterbury.
