Fulton is located at the junction of Arkansas Highway 355 and Interstate 30 and lies on the north bank of the Red River of the South. [4]According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km 2), of which 0.2 square miles (0.52 km 2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km 2) (10.00%) is water.

Fulton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,075. [1] The county seat is Salem. [2] Fulton County was formed on December 21, 1842, and named for William Fulton, [3] the last governor of the Arkansas Territory. It is an alcohol prohibition or dry county.
