Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) is a public community college in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. The main campus is in Pewaukee , with a satellite campus in downtown Waukesha . It is a member of the Wisconsin Technical College System .
Founded in 1912, the school was previously known as Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC), but "Wisconsin" was dropped on March 29, 2006. [4] [5] Western received voter approval for facilities improvement via referendums in 1992 ($8.9 million), 1996 ($3.65 million), and 2012 ($79.8 million).

After one and a half years of construction costing $83.5 million, West Tech opened to students on August 30, 2010. It is the last high school built under a 1998 bond program to revitalize schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD), which involved the construction, replacement, and rehabilitation of more than 100 schools.
