Farm life sims (also called farming sim or farm sim) are a subgenre of life simulation games which fuse social simulation, dating sim and farm simulation elements. The games generally feature a protagonist going out to a rural setting and taking upon a farm, oftentimes because of an inheritance from a deceased relative, or because of urban boredom.

Farming Simulator 2013 (known as simply Farming Simulator for handheld and console versions) is a simulation video game in the Farming Simulator series, developed and published by Giants Software and Focus Home Interactive for Microsoft Windows in 2012, and for Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Some threshing machines were equipped with a bagger, which invariably held two bags, one being filled, and the other being replaced with an empty. From the trailer, the premise of the game seemed to be a human mission to the planet Mars, followed by a terraforming and colonization scenario, typical of the Maxis world-building game style.
