The goal of the game is to guide Bugs who is trapped by Daffy Duck in a painting and has to traverse through various stages based on old Looney Tunes shorts. Bugs can jump, dive into holes, and attack by either jumping, kicking, pieing, or perform a spin attack that drains his health which is in the form of a carrot.

The player has Daffy Duck traversing through a backstage level in a limited amount of time and finding the exit in order to proceed to the next level. Daffy's weapon of choice is a bubble cannon to shoot enemies. Daffy can also throw punches. Daffy must collect all bundles of dynamite before he can exit the level.
The cartoon's title is a play on The Hucksters, a satirical novel about the advertising business that was made into a 1947 live-action film starring Clark Gable. "Eagle Hand Laundry", the business supposedly sponsoring Daffy's radio show, was at the time the name of an actual hand laundry in Brooklyn.
