Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) is a public community college in Oneida County, New York. It is part of the State University of New York system. MVCC was founded in 1946 as the first community college established in New York State and currently consists of the main campus in Utica and a branch campus in Rome .

The first classes occurred in the college's downtown Syracuse location, the now-demolished midtown area. In 1970 the college moved to its new and current location in the Town of Onondaga. Residence halls were opened in 2006, and a new Arena began hosting intercollegiate, scholastic, and community-based events in 2011.
Hudson Valley Community College is a public community college in Troy, New York.It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY). Although about eighty percent of the students are from the Capital District, the remainder are from other parts of New York, other states and from some 30 countries around the world.
Since enrolling its first class in 1957, DCC has awarded degrees and certificates to over 30,000 graduates and has provided educational opportunities for many thousands of other students. [ 4 ] On 25 August 2012, Conklin Hall was opened, becoming the college's first, and as of 2023 only, on-campus residence hall. [ 5 ]
