Big Bear High School is a high school in Big Bear City, California. It is the only conventional high school in the Bear Valley Unified School District . It was established as an institution in 1948 but has since moved to a new building.

In the early years of Bear Creek, the men's track and field teams were strong. They were coached by Greg Wright [12] (History teacher) who now coaches at Lodi High School in Lodi, California. In 1994 and 1995, the Bruins battled Sonora High School for the top spot in the Valley Oak League, winning the school's first league championship in 1995.
