Morocco Mall (Arabic: مول المغرب) is the largest shopping mall in Africa [1] with 590000m² of floor space in Casablanca, Morocco. Morocco Mall, which opened on December 1, 2011, was designed by architect Davide Padoa of Design International , a global architecture boutique with its headquarters in London.
It is the third largest single-phase shopping mall to be built in Africa, [1] [2] but smaller than Gateway, Sandton City, Menlyn Park and Fourways Mall. [3] The total retail area is 130 000 square metres. The shopping mall has two main levels of shopping as well as an outdoor restaurant plaza which connects directly to the Waterfall City Park.
