The L, [a] [4] formerly known as the Market—Frankford Line, [b] is a rapid transit line in the SEPTA Metro network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.The MFL runs from the 69th Street Transit Center in Upper Darby, just outside of West Philadelphia, through Center City Philadelphia to the Frankford Transportation Center in Near Northeast Philadelphia.
The system comprises five trolley services that operate on street-level tracks in West Philadelphia and Delaware County, and also underneath Market Street in Philadelphia's Center City. The services—T1 (Route 10), T2 (Route 34), T3 (Route 13), T4 (Route 11), and T5 (Route 36)—collectively operate on about 39.6 miles (63.7 km) of route. [2]
Starting from its eastern terminus at 13th Street, Route 10 runs in a subway tunnel under Market Street. It has underground station stops at 15th Street, 19th Street, 22nd Street, 30th Street, and 33rd Street. From 15th to 30th Streets, it runs on the outer tracks of the Market Street subway tunnel used by SEPTA's Market–Frankford Line.
