[4] They are officially designated as Bishop Hill I (98 turbines), opened in 2012; Bishop Hill II (50 turbines), opened in 2012; and Bishop Hill III (53 turbines), opened in 2018. This is at least partly due to usage by windpump builders Eclipse Windmill Company (1873) and Aermotor Windmill Company (1888, the sole surviving US "windmill" manufacturer [ 1 ] ).
