"Ladyfingers" is a song performed by American alternative rock group Luscious Jackson, issued as the lead single from their third studio album Electric Honey. Written and co-produced by lead singer Jill Cunniff , [ 2 ] [ 3 ] the song peaked at #28 on the Billboard Alternative chart in 1999.
Three weeks later, for the week ending June 11, 1966, Whipped Cream & Other Delights came in at No. 5, and was one of three TJB albums to make the top 5 of the Top LP's chart, along with Going Places (4) and What Now My Love (1). [8] The feat was repeated the following week, with What Now holding at 1, Whipped Cream at 3, and Going Places at 5. [9]
Two well-known songs from that show include "More Than You Know," and "Without a Song." He married the dancer and journalist Stella Bloch in 1931. They both worked in the film industry until the House Committee on Un-American Activities named her husband in the 1950s. This ended his career in the film and later in the television industry. [4]

A second single, "Nervous Breakthrough", was issued without a music video or commercial single release.

AllMusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine opined that Electric Honey "finds Luscious Jackson narrowing their focus, concentrating more on groove and texture than full-fledged songs", resulting in an album that is "breezy and enjoyable, to be sure, but nevertheless a little too lightweight to really take hold."
