Shared this in an AirPods post earlier in the year and relevant for anyone considering Apple Care here: To add some useful info to the conversation and Costco specific: There's no time limit on AirPod Pro returns at Costco. Had an employee make conversation with me seeing me checking out with AirPods Pro (2nd Gen - USB-C) a few months ago.

The thing is there is for sure someone going to use their airpods for many hours, enjoy them, and then return it to Costco. Just like how recently a dude on RFD returned an ebike to Costco after having ridden it for I think it was 10,000km. Dude was saying there were problems with the bike and had to keep fixing/modifying it.
