Northview High School (Florissant) - Ages 14–21. Its service area is the same as that of Ackerman. [7] Southview School (Sunset Hills) - Ages 5–21. Its service area is the Affton, Bayless, Hancock Place, Lindbergh, Mehlville, Valley Park, and Webster Groves school districts.
The commons was made possible by a million-dollar donation from Affton High School alumni Bill ('63) and Nancy ('65) Thompson. A new athletic complex, which included a new football field, bleachers, all-weather track and lights made its debut at the start of the 2004–2005 school year, with contributions from actor and alumnus John Goodman.

The population growth of the City of Blue Springs increased the need for space for students. In 1951, Thomas Ulitcan Elementary School opened as the first designated elementary school in the district. In 1955 the current freshman center on Vesper St. was completed as Blue Springs High School. This was the district's first high school.
