The Ludington Public Library is one of the two branches of the Mason County District Library administrative system. This library, as the main branch, is located in downtown Ludington, in Mason County in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The library started in 1872. The Pere Marquette Literary Club helped in the formation of a permanent city library.

Pere Marquette Charter Township is a charter township of Mason County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,416 at the 2020 census. [2] The township was named for French explorer Père Jacques Marquette. [5] The township surrounds the city of Ludington on Lake Michigan, but the city and the township are administered autonomously.
