The Armenian Premier League (Armenian: IDBank Հայաստանի Պրեմիեր Լիգա, known as the IDBank Armenian Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the top football competition in Armenia. [1] From 1936 to 1991, the competition was held as a regional tournament within the USSR.

BKMA Yerevan, Noravank and Sevan where all promoted to the Premier League and given licenses, replacing Gandzasar Kapan and Lori who'd previously withdrawn from the league the previous season, and Shirak who were relegated.
