John Glassco (December 15, 1909 – January 29, 1981) was a Canadian poet, memoirist and novelist. According to Stephen Scobie, "Glassco will be remembered for his brilliant autobiography, his elegant, classical poems, and for his translations". [1] He is also remembered by some for his erotica.

The John Glassco Translation Prize is an annual Canadian literary award, presented by the Literary Translators' Association of Canada to a book judged the year's best translation into either English or French of a work originally written in any language. The winning writer is awarded $1,000 and a free membership to LTAC.
William Grant Glassco, OC (August 30, 1935 – September 13, 2004) was a Canadian theatre director, producer, translator and founder of Toronto's Tarragon Theatre. Born in Quebec City, Quebec, he studied at the University of Toronto, Princeton University and Oxford University. From 1959 to 1964, Glassco taught English at the University of Toronto.
Scans from Dr. Meng's collection began appearing in volume 4 of the 2002 catalog.
