  2. Ruger LCR 9mm loaded with 380 ACP - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-lcr-9mm-loaded-with-380...

Is it possible to load 380 ACP into 9mm moon clips and shoot them as a lower recoil option for the LCR 9mm revolver ? The projectile diameter is the same, but I'm just not sure if the 380 ACP brass will fit into the moon clips tight enough because both calibers don't use the same shell plates when reloading.

  3. LCR 9MM Bullet Creep and Cylinder Jam BEST AMMO - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/lcr-9mm-bullet-creep-and...

As you might know the 9m has a taper not a crimp like a 38 Special. I don't over do my taper on my 9mm reloads (for practice only). Ball nose bullets are taller than hollow point to start with. 3) I plan on using Federal HST LE 115 +P or Speer Gold Dot 115 +P hollow point, the same ammo I use in my 9mm pistols (Kahr CM9 and G26). I am guessing ...

  4. So I Shot My LCR 9mm - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/so-i-shot-my-lcr-9mm.415234

The LCR and/or Sp101 in .9mm looks compelling on paper but I always had second thoughts on that caliber for revolver carry. The appeal of the .9mm SP101 and LCR bit several of my friends and they love them. *It is an issue for me about the clips. In my old age I am trying to keep things simple and practical.

  5. Ruger LCR 327 vs 9mm

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-lcr-327-vs-9mm.413717

It appears to me that .327 ballistics approximate 9mm +P or +P+. So recoil would be similar to hot 9mm loads, and perhaps even more muzzle blast due to the higher pressures. I have a 9mm LCRx and SP101, both with 3" barrels. Both handle the warm 9mm loads very well, and produce better ballistics than many might assume.

  6. Charter Arms 9mm revolver "Pit Bull" - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/charter-arms-9mm-revolver-pit...

Charter Arms 9mm revolver "Pit Bull" I own a pitbull and it's one of the most unique and controversial guns I have. I like the fact that it shoots 9mm instead of .38 sp (just my personal preference) and the retention and ejection system is the only one of its kind (the Korth Sky Marshal has a similar system but that's a $1k plus gun).

  7. Converting .357 to 9mm - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/converting-357-to-9mm.23511

People see the prices of 9mm and like the simplicity of a revolver, I think there is a huge market to be captured for a 9mm snub. If Ruger made the LCR in 9mm I could see them flying off the shelves. A 9mm 4"+ revolver, maybe not, probably wouldn't sell very well, but like was said above, if we really want one we can have someone convert a .38 ...

  8. LCR 9mm Bullet Jump Problem Fixed By Ruger

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/lcr-9mm-bullet-jump-problem...

My LCR 9mm was having bullet jump problems with unfired rounds locking up the cylinder and in some cases bullets falling out of the cylinder. This happened with four different brands of 115 gr ammo and also some 124 gr. ammo.

  9. Ruger vs. Taurus? - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-vs-taurus.390076

I do not trust modern Ruger build quality of revolvers, either. Mine are from 1973, 80, and 96. My advice? If you want a wheelgun, go old and Ruger, or Smith, unless you like the Taurus 85. The only recent-production wheelgun I have is a Kimber K6S and recent-production semi is a Springfield mil-spec 1911.

  10. Ruger GP100 357, .38 & 9mm? - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-gp100-357-38-9mm.20402

Not a Ruger but the medusa model 47 - a double action revolver produced by Phillips & Rodgers is able to shoot .38/.357/9mm from the same cylinder. Even more different cartidges can be shot out of this DA revolver like .380 ACP, 9×19mm Parabellum, 9×18mm Makarov, 9×21mm, 9×23mm, 38 Super, 38 Colt, 38 Long Colt, 38 Special, .357 Magnum, etc.

  11. 9mm revolver - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/9mm-revolver.45154

The 9mm revolver would be used for SD back-up and practice. I already have an LCR, LC9, SP101 2 inch 357 and SP101 3 inch 327. The idea is to get something I can use for practice that is similar to the other SD guns I have, and 9mm makes sense because of the availability of cheap ammo.
