Many calm-minded horses who never normally cause the slightest trouble enact major hijinks. So, not a fair picture of Arabians there. Quarter Horses are bred to "look" calm and stoic and move with minimal wasted motion. I've known a couple who were pretty deceptive in that they didn't give any notice that they were about try and part ways with you.
Hm m m . . I would consider Olympia, or cities south of it. The land is rich and more flat south of Olympia and I often see horses listed for sale on Dreamhorse from areas between Olympia and Portland, along the I-5 corridor. There are great rivers and close access to some amazing mountain camping and riding near Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams.
I have been approached by a neighbor to lease some land to him to keep 4-5 horses on. The fenced portion of the land is about 6 acres and has a metal barn with 4 stalls, running water, electricity, tack room, and wash bay. From what we have talked about so far he would be responsible for taking care of the horses completely.
The article is by a vet and she gives case studies where it did work on aggressive horses, or introducing a new horse to the herd , BUT stressed that one needs to use a collar designed for horses, as they feel electricity at a much lower level then us or dogs-hense the fact that you can feel nothing when a trough water heater is faulty, but the ...
I have not. I introduce older horses, 8 and up, to them. Even OTTBs and blm horses. With few exceptions I do first put them on in a corral. There was one horse, there's always one, a slight built grey named "Ghost." He was tough to catch anyway and his owner wanted to be able to hobble him so he could graze on all day recreational rides.
I know for a lot of horse sale sites, the more photos you have, the more expensive it is, but an ideal ad for me would include the following: conformation shots from both sides, rump, and chest views; some ridden photos, for example, if they were a jumper, some jumping photos, if they were an xc horse, some xc photos; video of the horse doing ...
I'm in NH. My parents live near Bar Harbor. Beautiful place! The horses are fine with a run in. As long as they can get out of the wind and wet it isn't problem. You will have more problem with winter than the horses will. The cold off the water goes right through you. Snow can come any time after Thanksgiving. You might have foot all winter.

We have nearly 7 acres of pastureland, fenced in for horses and a 4 stall barn in great shape with hot water and electric. We currently don’t have any horses and are looking to rent it out. we have been offerred $1000/month for someone to keep 2 horses there. He will park his RV there and live out of it.
If you want a gaited horse, I run a group on FB called "Gaited Horses sale, trade, adopt stud, and tack." I think the FB groups can be a great way to look for horses, because you can really get to know the sellers beter, and you don't even have to contact them >:P I am a master FB stalker.
