The city of Franklin will once again hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting on the Square, with this year’s ceremony taking place Friday, Dec. 6. Considered one of the best tree lighting events in Middle Tennessee, the evening will include not only the lighting itself but also music, Christmas carols, food trucks and other festive activities.

Headlining the evening is Matthew West, celebrated as one of Christian music’s most prolific singer-songwriters.
