Mondegreen was the band's first festival since the cancellation of Curveball six years prior. It was held from August 15–18, 2024. It is officially considered the 11th Phish festival, as the band does not count Curveball. A nine year gap between Magnaball and Mondegreen made for the biggest gap between festivals in the band's history.
The event took place from August 13 to 15, 2004, at the Newport State Airport in the small town of Coventry, Vermont. An estimated 65,000-68,000 attended. [ 34 ] Phish was the only band at the event, performing six sets of music over two nights that were the band's final live performances, until their 2009 reunion.
Farmhouse received mainly positive reviews. Jason Ankeny of AllMusic praised the album as Phish's "rootsiest and most organic effort to date... [and] also their most fully developed – these are complete, concise songs and not simply outlines for extended jams, boasting a beauty and intimacy which expands the group's scope even as it serves notice of a newfound pop accessibility."

The band's summer 1998 tour saw them add songs into their repertoire that would later be included on that year's The Story of the Ghost album (including setlist staples "Roggae" and "The Moma Dance" [a], the latter of which was performed during the second set of the July 16 show) and continue the funk-influenced improvisational style that came to the forefront the previous year.
Languedoc first worked with Phish on October 15, 1986, at a concert at Hunt's in Burlington, Vermont. He took part in some of the band's earliest tours [3] and remained with the band until their 2004-2009 hiatus. When Phish resumed touring and recording in 2009, Paul Languedoc declined to join them, deciding to retire from the road to focus on ...
