Campbell University is a private Christian university in Buies Creek, North Carolina, United States. Campbell's main campus in Buies Creek is home to its College of Arts & Sciences, College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Divinity School, School of Education, Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, and the School of Engineering.
It is the home of Campbell University. The population was 3,253 at the 2020 census, up from 2,942 in 2010. Buies Creek is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau.
The Lundy-Fetterman Museum & Exhibit Hall is located in the Lundy–Fetterman School of Business Building on the main campus at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.The museum and exhibit has nearly 175 animals from the Burrows T. & Mabel L. Lundy Collection.
Wallace first joined the faculty of Campbell University in 1970, later serving as the vice president for Academic Affairs and provost from 1984 to 2001 before becoming president in 2003. In 2011, the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine was established and named in Wallace's honor.
The D. Rich Memorial building is the centerpiece educational building on the Buies Creek, North Carolina campus of Campbell University that was completed in 1926 after a donation from D. Rich. D. Rich’s memory and donation lives on through the building. His quote “Buies Creek must live on” is written on the back of the building.
