Peter William Ham [1] (27 April 1947 – 24 April 1975) was a Welsh singer, songwriter and guitarist best known as a lead vocalist of and composer for the 1970s rock band Badfinger, whose hit songs include "No Matter What", "Day After Day" and "Baby Blue".
After Evans and Molland split in 1982, Gibbins joined Tom Evans and Bob Jackson to create another Badfinger to rival that of Molland. Gibbins soon quit, and Evans died by suicide in 1983. A year later, Gibbins, Jackson, and Molland toured as Badfinger for a brief period. [1]
The songs illustrate Badfinger's rock side, which was never really captured on any of the band's studio albums. Molland and Pete Ham dominate the recordings on lead guitars. The last track on the CD is a live recording of the hit "Come and Get It", recorded by Badfinger in 1970 for the BBC show "Top of the Pops".
Thomas Evans (5 June 1947 – 19 November 1983) was an English musician. He is best known for his work as the bassist of the band Badfinger.He also co-wrote their 1970 song "Without You," which has been recorded by over 180 artists — most notably Harry Nilsson and Mariah Carey.
"Love Is Easy" is the third track on the 1974 Badfinger album. It was previously released in October 1973 as a single in Britain (as well as in Germany, New Zealand, South Africa and Uruguay), backed with another album track, the Mike Gibbins-written "My Heart Goes Out". It was a commercial failure, however, not charting in the UK.
