The Second Amendment Foundation I probably a much better use of your money. While the NRA have been the visible group, 2AF have quietly been logging court victories for gun owners. If the 2AF we're to turn into Alan Gura's vacation fund, I'd probably donate twice as much as long as he kept showing up to court.
Gun Owners of America will of course be filing a lawsuit to block this unconstitutional rule as soon as it becomes possible to challenge it. The reason is simple--most gun owners are fucking stupid. They dont lock guns up when they should, and theft is rampant. The NRA has also advised/ helped write every single state gun restriction since sandy hook. They are government boot lickers who have tricked generations into believing they have our best interests at heart.
If you want to give money to people that want every gun law repealed, they're your guys. If you think the NRA compromises too easily, then yes it's absolutely worth it. It's only $20 anyway. I’ve found both Pratts far more convincing in interviews than anyone from the NRA. (Life member of both; gotta hedge those bets.)
