The St. Charles Streetcar Line is a historic streetcar line in New Orleans, Louisiana. Running since 1835, it is the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world. It is operated by the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA).
The entire trip takes about 45 minutes each way and gives you a grand view of some of New Orleans' most beautiful and interesting homes, the Central Business District, Audubon Park, plus Tulane and Loyola Universities. The St. Charles Streetcar runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
