Color of Night is a 1994 American erotic mystery thriller film produced by Cinergi Pictures and released in the United States by Buena Vista Pictures (through its Hollywood Pictures label). The film was directed by Richard Rush , was jointly written by Billy Ray and Matthew Chapman and stars Bruce Willis opposite Jane March .
March played the female lead in the 1992 film The Lover, based on a semi-autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras. [3] Two years after The Lover, she co-starred with Bruce Willis in the erotic thriller Color of Night (1994), directed by Richard Rush. Maxim magazine ranked her sex scene in the film as "the Best Sex Scene in film history". [4]
In 1994, Cinergi released Color of Night starring Bruce Willis, Jane March and Lesley Ann Warren. With the exception of Tombstone, all of those films flopped at the box office. In 1992, Cinergi was hired to manage Sovereign Pictures' library, producer of Reversal of Fortune. [3]
