Hedberg Maps, Inc. is a map publishing company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was founded in 1994, although some of its maps were originally published under the name "Latitudes Map and Travel Publishers", as early as 1991. All operations are based in Minneapolis in the Northeast Arts District.

In 1885, the southern border of the city of Minneapolis was 38th Street. By 1887 the city had expanded its borders to 54th street, and thus the area which is now King Field became part of Minneapolis. King Field is mainly a residential area with three-fourths of its single-family houses built before 1920.
The area now occupied by the Twin Cities generally consisted of a 155 foot (47 m) thick layer of St. Peter Sandstone, under a 16 foot (5 m) thick layer of shale, under a 35 foot (11 m) thick layer of Platteville limestone. [4] These layers were the result of an Ordovician Period sea which covered east-central Minnesota 500 million years ago. [4]
