The Church of Our Lady Help of Christians is a parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Tottenville, Staten Island, New York City. The parish is in the Diocese of Broken Bay. The parish has two separate and distinct communities, based around the two churches: Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) Catholic Church at Epping, and St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church at Carlingford. The current Parish Priest is Father Jim Meckeon, with Father Aldrin Valdehueza as the Assistant Priest.
The Abbey of Our Lady, Help of Christians, commonly known as Worth Abbey, is a community of Roman Catholic monks who follow the Rule of St Benedict near Turners Hill village, in West Sussex, England. Founded in 1933, the abbey is part of the English Benedictine Congregation. As of 2020, the monastic community had 21 monks. [1]
