This is a list of hospitals in Pennsylvania, a U.S. state. The list includes only hospitals that are currently licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health or operated by the Veterans Health Administration , according to data collected by the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
The center is home to Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center, radiation oncology, cardiovascular medicine and an outpatient surgical pavilion. One of the most important parts of the Center for Advanced Medicine is the Roberts Proton Therapy Center which houses the largest proton therapy center associated with a medical center in the world. [1] [8] The Fern Hill Medical Campus, located in West Goshen, opened in 2000, and Penn Medicine Southern Chester County, located in Jennersville, opened in 2015. In 2006, a clinical campus of Temple University School of Medicine was opened at the St. Luke's Bethlehem campus, and in 2009, a four-year School of Medicine was established in Bethlehem. The health network celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2022 and established a new children's hospital the following year. [2]

By the end of June 2010, the center admitted nearly 27,000 patients and provided care through over 854,000 outpatient and 57,000 emergency-service visits. Penn State Hershey Medical Center has over 8,801 employees, 400 volunteers, and the College of Medicine enrolls more than 800 students annually.
