It is preserved on display at the Western Railway Museum in Suisun City, California. This locomotive was the first steam locomotive to travel on the Feather River Route.

After the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railway arrived in Helper, it began to become a popular town in the 1880s. Helper later became the eastern and western union station.
