Bajaj released the UG IV (fourth upgrade) versions of the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 in April 2009. The upgrades for the Pulsar 150 included an all-black theme, tank scoops similar to those on the Pulsar 200, a 3D Pulsar logo, and a changed electrical system (full DC). Power also increased from 13.5 HP to 14.09 HP (at 8,500 rpm).
The Discover was the second Bajaj bike (After the Pulsar segment) to come with the six spoke alloys and the patented "Exhaus-TEC"—basically a resonator that boosts torque at lower rpms. It also employed the Bajaj trademark "DTS-i" Digital Twin Spark Ignition Technology used in the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and 180 DTS-i.
The Honda Unicorn is a motorcycle developed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and introduced in 2004. [3] It was internally called the CBF150M. The engine was taken from the CRF150F post 2005 engine.
The original engine is the Waukesha Model 150 Cub Twin, a 35.1 cu in (575 cc) or 38.9 cu in (637 cc) air-cooled L-head opposed twin-cylinder engine, putting out 14 hp (10 kW) at 3,200 rpm, [8] [45] built by Waukesha Engines of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and used from 1939 through 1942. The engine was originally designed to power orchard sprayers.
The front drum brake was replaced by a disc brake. A new instrument cluster, including a fuel gauge for the first time, replaced the old square unit. The fuel capacity was increased from 12 L (2.6 imp gal; 3.2 US gal) to 13 L (2.9 imp gal; 3.4 US gal). The styling was modernised. The chain casing was dropped in favour of a simpler chain guard.
The engine was a straight- or parallel-twin, four stroke with two valves per cylinder operated by a chain-driven overhead camshaft. The compression ratio of the C92 was 8.3:1, and the C95's was 9.7:1. Honda's claimed horsepower for the C92 was 11.5 hp (8.6 kW) @ 9,500 rpm and 16.5 hp (12.3 kW) @ 10,000 rpm for the C95.
The Bajaj Chetak is a motor scooter produced by the Indian company Bajaj Auto.Past models were petrol powered (either 2 or 4-stroke). The modern version is electric (known as the Chetak Electric), and is powered by a 4.2 kW BLDC motor with a 2.89 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, [2] and comes with a 90 km range.
This motorcycle is equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET) Engine which provides good balance of 10.7 Ps power & 65 kmpl* mileage. [ 2 ] In 2020, HMSI launched a fuel injected version of Honda Shine with a 5 speed gearbox, a higher compression ratio and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) for "silent" electric start.
