A three-stage renovation of the facility began soon after. The South Track addition, which added 1.200 mi (1.931 km) of track, was the largest update to the facility and was completed in 2015. It can be run as its own circuit or run combined with the North Track. An expanded Vehicle Dynamics Area was also part of the facility renovations.
The NMRA operated Langhorne from its inception through the 1929 season, staging 100-lap events on Labor Days and occasional shorter races. Difficulties in track preparation, management disputes, and poor attendance drove the speedway to the brink of bankruptcy until noted promoter Ralph "Pappy" Hankinson took over in 1930.
