The Sentimentalists, also known as the "Clark Sisters" (and also as the "Original" Clark Sisters; so-called to distinguish them from the current gospel music group of the same name), were an American close harmony singing group, consisting of sisters Mary Clark Branson, Peggy Clark Schwartz, Ann Clark Terry, and Jean Clark Frile.
On July 8, 2006, The Clark Sisters (Jacky, Twinkie, Dorinda, and Karen) recorded a live album in Houston, Texas, entitled Live...One Last Time. [25] The recording was directed and produced by Donald Lawrence and was released as a CD on April 10, 2007 [ 26 ] on EMI Gospel, followed by a CD/DVD Special Edition release on June 19, 2007.
The Clark Sisters were once a five member group, but Denise Clark-Bradford left the group in the 1980s and their relationship became estranged. It remains distant today.
