Casino is the debut studio album by the Swedish group Alcazar, released on 18 October 2000 in Sweden and on 8 February 2002 worldwide.It was produced by Alexander Bard, who also managed the group, and is known for his work with the Swedish glam-pop band Army of Lovers.
While Alexander Bard was the brain behind the band, [2] Jean-Pierre Barda was the lead vocalist on hits such as "Crucified" and "Israelism". Bard and Barda were the only two band members who were present throughout all of the band's various line-ups. When La Camilla left in 1991, she was replaced by Michaela de la Cour.
Except for "Tragedy", all have a strong connection to the electro/dance-sound of Alexander Bard's other bands. "Signed on My Tattoo" is a duet with his current band Gravitonas, "Crashing Down" is a cover of "Love Came Crashing Down" by Bard’s previous band BWO, and "Tragedy" is also a cover that he wrote for Malena Ernman's La Voix Du Nord album.

Both singles appeared on their album, Casino, which was written and produced by fellow Swedes Alexander Bard [1] and Anders Hansson. [2] Later editions of Casino contain a cover of The Human League's hit "Don't You Want Me," which also served as the third single from the album. In the United States, Alcazar gained moderate success.
