Skegness (/ ˌ s k ɛ ɡ ˈ n ɛ s / skeg-NESS) is a seaside town and civil parish in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire, England.On the Lincolnshire coast of the North Sea, the town is 43 miles (69 km) east of Lincoln and 22 miles (35 km) north-east of Boston.
Skegness Pier is located on the B1451 Grand Parade Road and is around 0.7 miles (1.1 km) from Skegness railway station. [3] The pier's main building also houses a bowling centre, laser quest and indoor children's play centre. [4]

Skegness itself lies at the eastern end of the A158 to Lincoln. The coast is served by the Grimsby branch of the Sheffield to Lincoln line, the Cleethorpes-Barton line, and the Grantham to Skegness line.
