The Music City Center is a convention complex located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States. It opened in May 2013. [6] The complex was designed by tvsdesign with Associated Architects: Tuck-Hinton Architects, Moody Nolan. [7] [8] It was developed by Nashville Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency.
On May 28, 2013, the newly anticipated Music City Center opened its doors in the SoBro District of Downtown Nashville. This new convention center marked a major milestone by replacing the rapidly aging Nashville Convention Center, and also adding an 800-room Omni Hotel along with an expansion of the Country Music Hall of Fame's facilities.

On October 26, 2001, Gaylord Entertainment announced that its Opryland Hotels division (dba Opryland Lodging Group) would be renamed Gaylord Hotels, in advance of the Florida and Texas projects' completions. Opryland Hotel Nashville was renamed Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center (or Gaylord Opryland, for short). [5]

The 117-acre (47 ha) site is located southeast of Downtown Nashville on the Nolensville Pike. The historic home of the Tennessee State Fair, today the complex is home to Geodis Park, home of Nashville SC of Major League Soccer, Fairgrounds Speedway, the Tennessee State Fairground Sports Arena, the Nashville Flea Market, and The Nashville Fair.
