Eddie from Ohio is an American folk band. Formed in 1991 in Northern Virginia , the band has achieved considerable local success, winning four Wammies ( Washington, D.C. area music awards) and a nationwide following, all outside the purview of major record labels .

Sean Levert was born in Cleveland, Ohio, [1] and was the son of Eddie Levert, the lead singer of the O'Jays. [2] He formed the trio LeVert with older brother Gerald Levert and childhood friend Marc Gordon; together they scored several smash hits on the U.S. R&B charts in the 1980s and early 1990s.
As of 2019, Crawford lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania [1] and played solo acoustic as well as electric gigs around town with his band, the Ed Crawford Trio. He appeared in the 2005 documentary film We Jam Econo. Since Firehose's break-up, he has also fronted the band Grand National (not to be confused with the UK band also named Grand National).

Evans was born in Denton, Texas, [3] but spent some of his childhood in Kansas City, Kansas, where his cousin Eddie Durham was a trombonist and guitarist. Durham persuaded him to switch from alto to tenor saxophone, the instrument that ultimately established Evans's reputation.
